Goals / Remit
As a motorway operation and maintenance company, Attikes Diadromes' main goal is the provision of Safe, Comfortable and Reliable access to motorway users. Our mission is to remain one of the safest motorways in Europe and to achieve this, we invest a lot of time and effort in road safety, by ensuring that the motorway is well-maintained, that traffic is kept moving and that incidents that may occur on the motorway are quickly dealt with.
In addition to our efforts on the road, we strongly believe that educated drivers make the difference in road safety, and hence, investing in road safety awareness has become a major strategy for Attica Tollway. And as road safety awareness should start from a young age, to set a good basis for future behaviour, children and adolescents are targeted in most of the company's road awareness programs.Main EU files targeted
The company is committed to the European Road Safety Charter and carries out road safety actions and initiatives targeted at the motorway users, its employees and the rest of civil society.

The program ''Eyes on the road'' was updated to an e-learning platform in 2018, so that road safety awareness can reach all schools and students throughout Greece. Also, in 2020, a new program was introduced in the Hellenic Children's Museun, with an interactive exhibition with traffic signs, were children can get aquainted with the basic rules of the road traffic code.Other activities
