Abolish Schengen Visa for Thailand   (ASVT)

    EU Transparency Register

    796397047189-97 First registered on 16 Jul 2022

    Goals / Remit

We are a group of citizen and business people, who believe the Thai people should be allowed to travel to Europe for tourism or business without a Visa.

    Main EU files targeted

ASVT targets the Regulation (EU) 2018/1806 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 November 2018 listing the third countries whose nationals must be in possession of visas when crossing the external borders and those whose nationals are exempt from that requirement. ASVT targets Civil Liberty Committee in the subcommittee discussing Visa Waiver countries. ASVT targets the Home Affair Commission for what is in its power to add Thailand to the list of Visa waiver countries. ASVT contacts Committe members (MEP). ASVT works closely with the Directorate of Home Affairs responsible for immigration policy. ASVT seeks for the support of the ETC (European Travel Commission).
