    Goals / Remit

    • Goal 1: Greater well-being of people living in poverty and distress (focus on holistic health and education programs, underpinned by programs for secure and sustainable livelihoods).
    • Goal 2: Greater capacity to prevent, mitigate and respond to humanitarian emergencies (programming for greater resilience of people and communities vulnerable to conflict and natural disasters, including forced migration and the impact of climate-related weather events).
    • Goal 3: ADRA is a catalyst for social justice.

    The ADRA European Regional Office’s (ADRA-EUROPE) has the responsibility to influence the decision-making processes on the European levels, to contribute to the eradication of poverty worldwide. To achieve this mission, the office collaborates with and fosters partnerships within its European network and around the world.
    ADRA-EUROPE provides technical assistance to ADRA Country offices inside Europe. Each ADRA office, like ADRA-EUROPE, works independently and is governed by its board and constitution.
    The faith-based organization ADRA-EUROPE was originally founded by the Seventh Day Adventist Church and is part of the ADRA International network operating in 131 countries.
