L’Alliance est l’organisation professionnelle représentative de la presse d’information politique et générale (IPG) française qui joue un rôle d’information essentiel dans toute société démocratique. Au-delà des lignes éditoriales et des orientations des différents titres de presse, l’Alliance s’est construite autour de valeurs partagées par ses adhérents:
- Apporter aux lecteurs une information professionnelle et de qualité,
- Eclairer le jugement du citoyen et être un acteur du lien social,
- S’adresser au plus grand nombre, en relatant événements et tendances de fond « de la commune au monde ».
L’Alliance est un interlocuteur et un partenaire incontournable des pouvoirs publics et de l’ensemble des parties prenantes du secteur de la presse
L’Alliance prend position sur tous les grands sujets d’intérêt commun pour relever les défis auxquels les entreprises de presse sont confrontées.
