    EU Transparency Register

    646699114665-12 First registered on 13 Oct 2014

    Goals / Remit

The association intends to promote European political information, education, and exchange. To this end
AMISA2 holds monthly debates with key decision-makers from the European institutions in order to focus the attention of corporate representatives on recent developments in EU policy fields and to make them aware of intended policies.
Due to major external developments in the EU (EP elections, new EUCOM, BREXIT results and consequences) and the ongoing Corona-crisis the normal AMISA2 activities are at the moment disturbed and even on hold until the sanitary conditions permit continuation of the activities.
In 2020 - due to COVID 19 - AMISA2 held only 4 (instead of the usual 10) monthly meetings. So far no meeting in 2021. Hopefully 2 - 3 meetings in 4Q21.

    Main EU files targeted

EU policy developments and initiatives that are relevant for business. The participants do not discuss markets, projects or prices and all do respect their code of conduct.
To this end, the only activity of AMISA2 consists of a monthly debate of 90 minutes with key speakers from the European Institutions and foreign embassies. The only contact with the institutions consists in inviting a competent speaker. Topics were:

    Economics of EU Competition Policy
    Financial Policies - Status
    Transport and Mobility
    Transatlantic Relationships
    Competitiveness and Growth
    Circular Economy
    Digital Single Market
    Climate and Energy
    Waste Policy
    Trade Policies
    BREXIT
    MFF and Financial Instruments
