Goals / Remit
APPA is the most representative Spanish Renewable Energy (RES) Association grouped in 9 different sections representing all kind of RES technologies (biofuels, biomass, wind energy, geothermal energy, marine energy, small wind, small hydro, solar photovoltaic, self-consumption). Constituted in 1987, APPA today counts more than 400 members (RES & biofuel producers, financial entities, consultancies and others RES sector associations). With an active presence in Spain and in Europe, APPA Renewables advocates a comprehensive view of all renewable technologies. APPA's main objetives are threefold: To carry out lobbying vis-à-vis national and European institutions, to provide legal and technical advice to its members and to provide them specific sector information in a consistent manner.
