ADHAC - Asociación de Empresas de Redes de Calor y Frío, is a business association comprised by the top companies in District Heating and Cooling (DH&C) construction, management and mainance as well as in components production.
Our main purposes are the following:
To create, maintain and develop an active exchange network of information, experience and knowledge related to the activity of construction, maintenance and operation of DH&C networks.
To collaborate with international associations.
To raise awareness of this technology through the publication of technical and dissemination guides.
To promote the inclusion of these networks in energy saving evaluation systems.
To promotion the development of a legal framework that regulates the activities of the associated companies.
To identify of the main players and projects in the sector at national level.
To represent, manage and defense the economic and professional interests of its members.

ADHAC participates in numerous working groups regarding national and EU-legislation on energy efficiency and renewable energies. Following we highlight the main iniciatives in which we have participated:
Transposition of the Directive 2012/27 into Spanish law
Transposition of the amending Directive on Energy Efficiency (2018/2002).
Transposition of the Renewable Energies Communities into the national law.
Update of the National Heating and Colling Systems Code
