    Goals / Remit

Since 1971 we have worked in child protection & the promotion of children´s rights.

We run foster homes, provide family support, design & implement socio-educational & international cooperation projects. We provide 107 living spaces for children in coordination with Social Services, and run 15 foster homes for minors & 10 “emancipation” spaces.

We work to improve education & quality of life for children & adolescents in Peru, Haiti, Senegal, El Salvador & Ecuador. We develop methodologies to promote rights-based approaches in socio-educational work and work on intensive pedagogy, social street education, education for development & youth activation.

We promote direct action with young people; national & international professional exchanges; & research in socio-education.

    Main EU files targeted

ANNF contributes to the main EU Youth Goals and EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, with a special enphasis in the following Youth Goals:
    #1 CONNECTING EU WITH Youth
    #3 INCLUSIVE SOCIETIES
    #4 INFORMATION AND CONSTRUCTIVE DIALOGUE
    #8 QUALITY LEARNING
#9 SPACE AND PARTICIPATION FOR ALL

Our main objective is to improve the situation of children and young people in Europe, Spain and other countries, creating more and equal opportunities for them in education and the labor market and promoting their active citizenship, social inclusion and solidarity.

We target groups with fewer opportunities for socio-economic reasons (young people in foster homes, immigrants, educational difficulties, etc.) or geographical reasons (rural areas, other underdeveloped countries).
