    Goals / Remit

    Assonime - Association of Joint Stock Companies incorporated in Italy – is a long-established business association and think-tank set up by companies in different branches of activity (industry, finance, services and public utilities). Its mission is:1. to contribute to the set-up of a regulatory framework encouraging economic activity through contacts with national and European institutions; 2. to interpret, adapt and apply rules for a well-functioning market; 3. to help members in conforming to the rules. To this end, Assonime maintains a constant dialogue with the main Italian and European institutions as well as its sister organizations in other European countries and regularly organizes public conferences and scholarly seminars, research initiatives and contacts with the national and academic community so as to mobilize the best expertise.
