    Goals / Remit

    Activities of Bulgarian Association for Drug Information
    (1) Preparation and organisation of national and international forums for sharing experience, information, and qualification.
    (2) Development, examination, and preparation of opinions, scientific developments, and publications relating to the activities independently or in collaboration regulatory authorities, professional and non-governmental establishments, and other associations both in Bulgaria and the European Union.
    (3) Participation in the development, discussion, experts assessment, and analysis of draft legal acts, guidelines, and instructions relating to the both in Bulgaria and the European Union.

    Main EU files targeted

    he Association shall achieve its objectives through the legal activities within the scope of the Statutes by organising work group meetings, seminars, lectures, conferences, qualification courses, etc. aimed at the improvement and development of qualification of the Association members in the fields of these objectives.
    As the main focus of the Bulgarian Association for Drug Information Association (BADI) is focusses policies targeted are mainly related to the new pharmaceutical documents, which are focused Clinical trial Regulation (EU) 536/2014, HTA Regulation (EU) 2021/2282 , Medical device legislation Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and the new EU- Pharmaceutical Strategy "A pharmaceutical strategy for Europe", adopted on 25 November 2020.

    On the basis of their expertise, the members of BADI have developed presentations and statements for the stakeholders in Bulgaria on the implementation of the HTA Regulation (EU) 2021/2282 and Clinical trial Regulation (EU) 536/2014 in the country.
    Additionally to that we have developed The project is implemented with the financial support of the Operational Program "Good governance" (OPDU), co-financed by the European Union through European Social Fund.Priority axis 2 "Effective and professional management in partnership with civil society and business" .Procedure "Increasing civil participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation”.
    Project "Development of proposals to improve civil participation in drug pricing and reimbursement processes, formation and reporting of the public/budgetary funds for health care in the field of medicines" - No. BG05SFOP001-2.009-0022, is implemented with the financial support of Operational program "Good Governance", co-financed by the European Union through the European social fund.

    Considering the knowledge of HTA, BADI have submitted documents for a Call for applications: Health Technology Assessment Stakeholder Network.
