    Goals / Remit

    Die Bundessteuerberaterkammer ist die gesetzliche Spitzenorganisation aller deutschen Steuerberaterinnen und Steuerberater. Ihr Aufgabenbereich umfasst gemäß § 86 Steuerberatungsgesetz im Wesentlichen die Vertretung der Gesamtheit der deutschen Steuerberater auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene. Sie wirkt im Gesetzgebungsverfahren als Sachverständige mit und ist Beraterin für Bundesbehörden und Bundesgerichte. Die Bundessteuerberaterkammer vertritt die Interessen der 21 Steuerberaterkammern und damit der insgesamt rund 91.000 deutschen Steuerberater, Steuerbevollmächtigten und Steuerberatungsgesellschaften gegenüber Behörden, Gerichten und Organisationen auf nationaler, europäischer und internationaler Ebene.
