Goals / Remit
The international stakeholder engagement platform Circular Change (CC) informs, raises awareness, and engages different stakeholders in their systemic circular economy journeys. The mission is to make the circular economy (CE) a reality by connecting key players in a circular transition, acting as transition brokers: focusing on the EU and Western Balkans, operating globally - from Nordic Countries to Latin America, bridging top-down bottom-up circular approaches, mapping stakeholders, and enabling them to connect to international organizations, access a network of CE experts and good practices. Orchestration of national circular economy roadmapping processes is one of our focus areas (references: Slovenia, Serbia, Chile, Montenegro, Kosovo, City of Ljubljana, BIOEAST Foresight Excercise). One of CC’s core competencies is the ability to connect circular economy expertise with strategic communication and creativity. Network governance and circular economy are what we strongly promote.
Main EU files targeted
Eu Green Deal, Circular Economy Action Plan, Plastic pact, Green Recovery Alliance, Neu European Bauhaus, Fit for 55 - active contribution in the public dialogue, the introduction of CE legal framework to different stakeholders - focusing on the countries of the Western Balkans (potential enlargement of EU). Bridging private and public sector in the dialogue, orchestrating the process of "scenario making" for effective implementation of EU legislation.
