The mission of the Civil Liberties Union for Europe (Liberties) is to promote protect and uphold human rights, civil liberties, the rule of law and democratic values in the European Union. Liberties is committed to its mission of protecting human rights and civil liberties in the European Union. The work of Liberties is guided by universal human rights, the universal values of human dignity, freedom, equality and solidarity for each human being.
