Concrete Europe

The Concrete Europe ASBL, is a European association incorporated as a non-profit association under Belgian law. Its objective is to study and promote all aspects of concrete for construction. Concrete Europe aims to promote concrete as the material of choice providing building solutions for sustainable development and sustainable construction.

Concrete Europe's members are:
- BIBM - European Federation for Precast Concrete
- CEMBUREAU – The European Cement Association
- EFCA – European Federation of Concrete Admixtures Associations
- ERMCO – European Ready Mixed Concrete Organisation

Alignment of EN 15804 with PEF, Eurocodes, Ecolabel, Level(s) – framework for assessment of buildings,
Design for Deconstruction and Durability of Buildings, Digitalisation, PEF4buildings, Energy Performance of Buildings Directive review.
5 to 10 EU activities: Fire Safety Engineering, Eurocodes, Product Category Rules for Concrete, Digitalisation, Classification, Labelling Packaging (CLP), CEN/TC 350 activities, CEN/TC 351 activities, Review of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), Circularity of concrete.
Participation to EU-funded project: DigiPlace, Organisation’s membership in committees: CEN/TC 250 (active member), CEN/TC 350 (via delegate), CEN/TC 351 (via delegate), CEN/TC 127 (via delegate), ISO/TC 92/SC 4 - Fire safety engineering (via delegate).

Concrete Europe is a platform made up of four European associations and as such has no direct employees. Its administrative tasks are handled on a voluntary basis by staff of its for members, which amounts to around 25% FTE in total dedicated to Concrete Europe.
