Goals / Remit
EKPIZO – Consumers’ Association The Quality of Life established in 1988, protects consumer rights and improves their quality of life; it is a nongovernmental, nonprofit and accredited association, administered by a 7 members Board, has 22.218 members, 8 employees and 40 volunteers (2020 data).
Our financial sources, strictly defined by law, are only allowed from members’ fees, collective actions, subsidies/grants from national, EU and other international Public Institutions and Foundations.
EKPIZO’ s multi annual work has led to jurisdiction’s creation and legal reforms; due to its court and out of court actions EKPIZO members got back over 21,5 million euro illegally withheld by companies
