CNCA is a Federation of approximately 250 third‐sector organizations. Works in the areas: problematic drug and alcohol users and people addicted to gambling; inmates and ex‐offenders; physically and mentally disabled people; homeless; women and children victims of human trafficking and exploitation; people affected by AIDS; migrants; poverty and unemployed people in difficulties; children and young people with personal or/and family problems regarding social integration and community involvement initiatives.
To pursue the above‐mentioned aims, the Federation’s main activities are the following:
• promote exchanges between local experiences; develop a cultural and political presence, in order to translate the daily experience with disadvantaged people into a project;
• implement research on social change and individual characteristics of disadvantaged populations;
• organize training, educational and counseling initiatives, in order to improve the effectiveness of services ma (...)

Le attività di informazione, promozione e dialogo con le istituzioni europee avvengono in maniera non strutturata. la partecipazione al Civil Society Forum on Drugs avviene tramite un consigliere delegato che svolge la sua funzione in maniera volontaria a favore della federazione
