    Goals / Remit

    The Council for Responsible Nutrition UK (CRN UK) is a trade association based in the United Kingdom (UK), whose members market food supplements, functional foods and their ingredients in the UK, across the whole of the European Union (EU) and globally.
    Our primary goals include:
    1) Providing technical, scientific and policy experience and experts to guide regulators and policy makers in the UK, EU and across the globe.
    2) To work in partnership with all regulators to ensure future regulations are based on science and evidence-based principles.
    3) Raising the standard of the industry by sharing our technical, scientific and regulatory expertise to help ensure good manufacturing standards and safe products for consumers.
    4) Engaging with government agencies on complex regulatory and scientific matters related to food supplements, functional foods and their ingredients through our scientific and technical advisors.
