    Other activities

As a business network for corporate social responsibility, CSR Europe provides a platform for learning and best practice exchange, facilitates joint projects between companies and stakeholders, and promotes dialogue between European businesses and policymakers on issues related to the role of business in addressing societal challenges.

In October 2010, CSR Europe launched a joint Enterprise 2020 initiative to address societal challenges through collaborative action and shape the business contribution to the European Union’s Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.

Since its launch, Enterprise 2020 has become the reference initiative for the ideal company of the future and forms the umbrella for all CSR Europe activities. In the framework of Enterprise 2020, CSR Europe has launched in 2013 the European Business Campaign on Skills for Jobs to foster employment and workplace innovation. In 2014, CSR Europe has launched the European Business Campaign on Sustainable Living in Cities to enhance business-city collaboration in the area of sustainability.

In 2015, we launched the European Pact for Youth together with DG EMPL, which is a mutual engagement from business and the European Commission to address the skills gap and fight against youth unemployment.

In 2017, CSR Europe has been appointed member of the EC multi-stakeholder platform on the SDGs, supporting the Commission in the implementaion of the SDGs in an EU context.
