The Danske Bank Group is the largest financial enterprise in Denmark and one of the largest in the Nordic region. The Group offers its customers a wide range of services in the fields of banking, mortgage finance, insurance, leasing, real-estate brokerage and asset management.
The Group serves personal and business customers through banks with nationwide branch networks in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. In addition, customers in Denmark are served by head office departments, finance centres and subsidiary companies. The Group also has branches in London, Hamburg, and Warsaw. A subsidiary in Luxembourg specialises in private banking services, and the offices in St. Petersburg and Moscow serve the Bank's corporate customers.
In total, the Group serves more than 5 million retail customers and a significant number of public sector and institutional organisations. Some 2.2 million customers use the Bank's online services. The Danske Bank Group employs almost 22,000 staff.
Danske Bank's ambition is to offer personal customers the easiest, quickest and best solutions in the Nordic region at competitive prices. We want to be a bank where small and medium-sized enterprises have fast, direct access to experts by phone. We aim to be the preferred financial partner for mid-sized Nordic corporates and private banking clients. And we want to be the leading provider of asset management and capital markets services for Nordic CIB customers.
The vision of the Danske Bank Group is “One platform – exceptional brands”. Our mission is to be “the best local financial partner”. Our common guidelines for working with the vision and mission are:
• Integrity – in business affairs and as a part of society.
• Expertise – through high standards of quality and professionalism.
