Goals / Remit
World Animal Protection is an animal welfare not-for-profit organisation with over 40 years of global experience in programmatic work and campaigns to improve animal welfare and ending animal cruelty.
World Animal Protection have experience working with stakeholders at different levels, including all EU Institutions, the World Organisation for Animal Health WOAH and the UN. We work with several governments and regional political blocks such as ASEAN, the African Union and of course the European Union.
Many of our supporters and members are based in Europe, including the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and the UK, where our International office is based.
Our focus is to end Industrial Farming and the suffering it causes to farm animals. Also to protect wild animals from exploitation.Main EU files targeted
