Electrolux is a European based global household appliance
manufacturer. In 2012, our global sales amounted to around
13 billion €, we had 59.000 employees and annual
production of more than 40 million appliances. In Europe, Electrolux has 16 factories and around 22.000 employees. We produce mainly washing machines, dish washers, tumble driers, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators and freezers, and cooking equipment. Legislation and product requirements influence our activity to a great extent.
The activities related to EU decision making are performed
by the Environmental & European Affairs Department
located in Brussels and in Stockholm. This department monitors development of EU legislation that can have an impact on our products.
