Communication activities
Since years, EurMaterials participates in several European Projects under Interreg, H2020, INNOSUP, and COSME programs... :
- RegioGreenTex (I3) supports the development of textile recycling areas (Lowlands) with 45 partners
- USABLE PACKAGING (BBI) aims to fine-tune bioplastics functionality by reactive and non-reactive extrusion processing.
- ESSIAL (FOF)- uses surface texturing to improve the performance and functionality of laminated magnetic circuits, while maintaining high mechanical and thermal resistance.
- SMARTX (INNOSUP) - create a Europe-wide community to stimulate innovation in smart textiles and develop a value chain for smart textile manufacturing
- The RETEX project (2016-2021) RETEX supports the development of new raw “secondary” materials from end-of-life textiles or production waste, for an innovative supply of eco designed products. Indeed, since the start of the project, the partnership has set up a segmentation that considers the entire value chain. RETEX raises the awareness of the stakeholders of the textile sector to the benefits of the circular economy and proposes several collective cross-border animation sessions for companies and laboratories to develop the ecodesign and recycling topics. These workshops enable working groups to be set up to develop products resulting from open or closed loop recycling.
New value chains are set up throughout the product life cycle.
- The Tandem project (2013-2014) is a cross-border cooperation project funded under the INTERREG IV A FWV programme. It consisted of 17 Franco-Flemish partners, 5 fields of action corresponding to the Innovation Research Strategy for a Smart Specialisation (RIS3). As project partner, EuraMaterials cluster assists the companies from Nord-Pas de Calais in the deployment of their innovation potential in the field of new materials, via cross-border 'tandems' with Flemish partners (Centexbel, VKC);
- Synamera (2015-2017) is an EU project funded under the Horizon 2020 Program (CSA). Synamera aims to improve the visibility for essential stakeholders, most notably national/regional programming and funding authorities, on programming synergetic actions between the European Union and Member States in the NMP Program. (www.synamera.eu);
- ERICA (2016): Establishing RegIonal Cluster Agreement for sharing good practices in efficient and sustainable manufacturing. This project is composed of 4 European regions (Catalonia, Nord Pas de Calais-Picardie, Lombardy and South Netherlands). Each region is represented by a couple “cluster – technological center”. ERICA aims to highlight best practices in technology transfer, and to benefit directly to the companies and laboratories from the regional territories in all market applications related to the issues of sustainability of production methods.
Others projects :
-SeaBioComp (INTERREG) 2018-2023
-Photonitex (INTERREG) 2019-2022
- MDTEX (INTERREG) 2017-2021
