    Goals / Remit

    The purpose of the Association is to represent the collective interests of the European chemical industry for textile and leather, principally in scientific, technological and regulatory matters, especially by:
    - making representations to the European Commission and other relevant authorities on all aspects of current and proposed legislation related to their products;
    - engaging in activities that are triggered by requests from stakeholders and actors along the textile and leather supply chain which are of common interest of the Members;
    - coordinating actions with other organizations considered relevant in the development of the above mentioned regulatory issues and sectorial activities;
    - promoting awareness of operators, authorities and general public on the functions and safe use of chemical products for textile and leather.
