To achieve its objectives, ECOPNET, uses various tools, which could be listed as events, roundtable meetings, trainings, EU funded projects, standardisation guidance, international cooperation programs, periodical reportings and Working & Research Groups. With an effective PR & communication strategy, ECOPNET aims to contact EU officials, MEPs and their assistants and other relevant EU actors to communicate key messages of its partners to influence decision-making processes and help the implementation of EU policies. It effectively manages social media accounts and news sections on its official website to inform followers on EU affairs, which are also encouraging followers to contribute and participate in formal consultations or hearings on envisaged EU legislative or other legal acts and other open consultations. ECOPNET organises numerous events throughout the year. It has launched Brussels+ event series to target young people and EU education policies. It is also working on events related to cultural diplomacy, scientific diplomacy, gastro-diplomacy and other similar concepts. EU officials, MEPs together with their assistants are always invited to the events. ECOPNET also conducts events at the European Parliament when possible under the auspices of collaborating MEPs. ECOPNET prepares newsletters, to be sent to every subscriber twice a month, to inform the subscribers on the significant points of the current EU agenda and policies. Detailed periodic reports on its working areas are also being prepared on a regular basis, to-be sent to the partners. ECOPNET also has different Working Groups (Green Deal & Circular Economy, Digital Age, Energy, Human Rights & Rule of Law, Immigration etc.) where it creates a platform to bring together experts, academics and our partners and carry on research projects. Various training modules (such as Horizon Europe Training Module, Green Deal Training Module etc.) are being conducted in the subject matters that fall into the categories of the working groups. ECOPNET conducts international cooperation projects such as city twinning projects, academic cooperation programs etc. and it gathers its partners in the form of roundtable meetings under different themes. ECOPNET guides its partners on social, legal and technical issues to meet and effect EU standards and policies.
