EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF DAIRY TRADE (EUCOLAIT)
EU Transparency Register
5159980776-55 First registered on 12 Dec 2008
Goals / Remit
EUCOLAIT is the association representing the interests of European dairy trade. It was founded in 1959 and today has members in 16 EU Member States as well as associate members outside the EU. Some 500 companies active in intra-EU and international dairy trade are either direct or indirect members of EUCOLAIT.
EUCOLAIT provides information to its members on issues pertinent to their activity such as the EU agricultural and trade policy, food law as well as on market developments. We also promote the interests of our members towards the EU institutions, our ultimate goal being to ensure that trade with dairy products can take place without undue obstacles and to help in creating more business opportunities for our members.
EUCOLAIT is also a platform for discussion and meetings for European and international dairy trade companies. Our meetings offer high quality dairy related information and facilitate the development of closer professional links between companies.Main EU files targeted

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.
1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
