    Elle a pour but :
    - de favoriser le développement de l’aide éducative spécifique, l’intégration culturelle et sociale pour les enfants, les adolescents et les adultes dyslexiques, dysorthographiques, dysgraphiques et dyscalculiques;
    - de promouvoir, au bénéfice des enfants en difficulté spécifique d’apprentissage (dyslexiques, dysorthographiques, dysgraphiques, dyscalculiques) des actions de tout ordre en coopération entre parents, enseignants et d’autres experts professionnels dans une optique pluraliste et pluridisciplinaire ;
    - de diffuser des informations et échanger des publications entre associations membres ;
    - de promouvoir toute recherche notamment en étiologie, prévention, diagnostic et thérapies appliquées ;
    - de procéder à l’investigation et à l’étude comparée des services offerts par les pays européens et des systèmes régissant la scolarité de ces enfants en difficulté spécifique d’apprentissage ;
