    Goals / Remit

The EEAC Network brings together advisory bodies established by national or regional governments or parliaments. EEAC members offer independent advice to their respective national or regional governments and parliaments related to climate change, the environment and sustainable development.

    1. The EEAC Network as a knowledge exchange platform: Cross-border exchange among EEAC member bodies and other stakeholders is of major importance. In this light, the EEAC Network offers an operational framework for dialogue and informed debate among various stakeholders and disciplines.

    2. The EEAC Network as a liaison: The EEAC Network also serves as a liaison between the work of the national and sub-national councils and at European policy level.

    3. The EEAC Network as an operational platform for inter-council cooperation: advisory bodies that are member of the EEAC cooperate on specific issues. The EEAC Network facilitates this cooperation.
