Goals / Remit
The European Federation for Construction Chemicals (EFCC) represents construction chemical companies and associations in Europe.
EFCC acts as spokesperson for the construction chemical industry before the European Union institutions and other public authorities, and communicates the industry’s views on policy issues regarding product stewardship, safety and quality, sustainability and resource efficiency as well as norming and standardisation.Main EU files targeted
EFCC is currently focusing on policy issues related to the Green Deal, the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability (CSS) and the Implementation of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR). In this context EFCC addresses products stewardship as well as the implementation of REACH, Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) and the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability).
Moreover, EFCC actively contributes to the EU Green Deal and its supporting circular economy principles in Europe as well as the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability and follows, and contributes to, developments regarding chemicals, polymers as well as construction materials.
In addition, EFCC is a partner in the HORIZON Programme, called IRISS, the InteRnatIonal ecoSystem for Safe and Sustainable by design. EFCC represents the construction sector in this programme.Address
