European Federation for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children (Missing Children Europe)

Missing Children Europe, the European Federation for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children, is a network organization in itself. It represents 31 NGOs in 26 European countries (22 EU Member States + Switzerland, Albania, Ukraine & Serbia), all of them active in the prevention and fight against child sexual exploitation and/or child disappearance.

• We implement the 116 000 European network for missing children: same number/same service (Support, training, advocacy, communication and awareness raising of the 116 000 hotlines)
• We coordinate the European Network of Family Mediators
• We have developed a Missing Children memorandum to the European Institutions
• We collect data on missing children in Europe annually
• Annual figures and trends 2018 - Analysis and sharing of data collected online and in print:
• Cross-border family mediation survey 2018
• Figures and Trends report from hotlines for missing children and cross-border family mediators
• Annual review of data collection methods and analysis
• 6 webinars for members and stakeholders were held
• Missing Children Europe's Publication Hub section was regularly updated and curated with relevant child protection resources, inter alia, research, policy and news.
