The industry donations are done in the form of sponsorship of EKHA annual event (European Kidney Forum). They are ad-hoc contributions from different companies which do not engage EKHA nor have influence on the content of the event. In 2017, the annual event was supported by Baxter, Amgen, B.Braun, Nipro.
In 2017, EKHA also received an ad-hoc contribution from Baxter to conduct EKHA survey on patient choice of renal replacement therapy in Europe. The sponsorship funding supported the survey work and had no influence on the content nor results. -
