    ESSO’s mission is to advance the science and practice of cancer surgery for the benefit of patients through education, research and innovation, and multidisciplinary care, in Europe and beyond.

    ESSO's vision is to cure cancer together.

    Congress: Update knowledge on best practice, advances in surgical techniques and multidisciplinary management

    Education: Set the standard across Europe for training, qualification and examination

    Research: Improve quality of care, patients’ experience and outcomes

    Advocacy: Promote optimal surgical cancer through the standardisation of education and qualification of surgical oncologists

    Membership: Engage with cancer surgeons to grow our surgical oncology community
