    FNADE is the French association representing the entire waste industry value chain. As a key player in the circular economy, the waste industry produces recycled materials, fertilisers, and green energy to replace natural resources and fossil energies. It provides solutions to major environmental and climate challenges. It brings together 257 private companies with 44,536 employees in France. It is a member of the European Waste Management Association (FEAD).
    2022 key figures: 11.4 billion euros in turnover and 800 million euros in investments.

    With its 8 professional unions, it gathers all the actors and activities of waste management and soil remediation: collection, transport, sorting, pre-treatment, recycling, organic and energy recovery, disposal of all types of waste (non-hazardous and hazardous waste, sewage, soil), except for radioactive waste.

This means more than 320,000 local jobs, fuelling €5 billion of investments into the economy every year.
