    Goals / Remit

    The Federation of Aluminium Consumers in Europe (FACE) is the voice of Europe's aluminium consumers. Since its founding in May 1999, FACE has advocated for a fair playing field for the continent's downstream aluminium as well as promoting its economic, social, and environmental advantages. It represents many of the top aluminium downstream European companies and includes additional observer members from outside Europe.
    FACE's six main goals are:
    1. Attaining a zero import tariff on unwrought aluminium.
    2. Achieving fair trade in unwrought aluminium and aluminium products across all markets and in all countries.
    3. Promoting aluminium and aluminium products' economic, social, and environmental advantages.
    4. Assessing and evaluating new and emerging technology for the production, semi-fabrication, trade, and use of aluminium.
    5. Support the shift to aluminium by reducing the costs of unwrought aluminium.
    6. Increase FACE's membership.
