    Other financial info

The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) has been involved as a third party EU project participant through the European Brain Council, a primary partner in the European Brain Research Area project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme under grant agreement No 825348. FENS has so far received 14,000 EUR in 2019 for its contributions to EBRA communications and project information dissemination.

Our cost estimation is low because we have just reactivated our interactions with EU institutions and currently have an administrative assistant working in this area, who is supervised by the FENS Executive Director. The volunteer FENS Committee on Animals in Research (CARE) is also assisting with advocacy efforts.
