    Goals / Remit

FYEG is the European umbrella organisation for Young Green organisations from all over the continent, from Georgia to Ireland and from Cyprus to Norway. Our 37 member organisations are youth wings of Green parties and Green youth NGOs. FYEG was founded in 1988 and is the independent, official youth wing of the European Green Party (EGP).

FYEG serves as a network to exchange ideas and knowledge and advocates for political change. By engaging, connecting and empowering young people as well as supporting its Member Organisations, FYEG advocates for a just, feminist, diverse, democratic, sustainable and social Europe and for youth participation in democratic processes, especially at the European level. FYEG activities range from capacity building and non-formal education to transnational political exchanges, campaigns, lobbying and much more.
