    Goals / Remit

First Solar is a leading global provider of PV solar energy solutions with 25GW sold in more than 35 countries. We design, manufacture and sell PV solar modules with an advanced thin film semiconductor technology. We provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services; we also provide global recycling services to power plant owners that use the solar modules we manufacture. Our power plant offerings decarbonize and diversify the global energy portfolio and reduce the impact of fuel-price volatility. From raw material sourcing through end-of-life module recycling, First Solar’s solar PV modules and systems protect and enhance the environment. MFirst Solar’s 5GW of installed capacity in Europe produces enough electricity to power more than 1.5 million average homes and displaces nearly 1 million metric tons of CO2 per year.
