    Foment del Treball Nacional es la confederación que representa desde 1771 a los empresarios y la potente industria catalana. Como organización independiente, privada, sin ánimo de lucro, acogida al derecho constitucional y legal de asociación de los empresarios, se rige con criterios democráticos por representantes libremente elegidos.
    La misión de FTN es defender los intereses de los empresarios catalanes en general -y de los asociados en particular-, promoviendo un entorno favorable para la actividad productiva en diálogo con los poderes públicos y los representantes de la sociedad civil.
