Goals / Remit
The Danish Consumer Council is an independent membership organisation which works for the promotion of sustainable and socially responsible consumption and efficient markets. Our purpose is to defend consumer rights and make consumers a power in the market.
The Danish Consumer Council’s members include about 73,000 individuals and 30 organisations, but we work for all consumers, regardless of their resources, place of residence or political persuasion. We work to improve conditions for consumers through debate, awareness-raising and assistance to all those interested in the relationship between consumption and society.
The Danish Consumer Council publishes Tænk (‘Think’), the leading consumer magazine in Denmark, and Tænk Penge (‘Think Money’).Main EU files targeted
