We estimate that up to 70% of the budget can be directly attributable to interest representation with EU institutions, the other part being relating to administrative and operational tasks, membership networking and advising and reporting to member and other non-lobbying related activities ( studies ,..) .

    Communication activities

    Freshfel annually publishes the "Freshfel Consumption Monitor" a report that brings together figures on production, trade and consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables across the EU. The document is available free of charge to Freshfel members and interlocutors of the association in the European institutions, and is available for purchase by non-members.

    Once a year, Freshfel publishes its annual activity report. The report gives an overview over the activities of the association.

    Freshfel also issues some additional publications. The Fresh Times, a document that collects information on current promotion campaigns, is published every even-numbered month. The "Freshfel Headlines", a document that compiles the latest positions taken by the European fresh produce association, is published every odd-numbered month. Both documents are available for download from the Freshfel website.
