    Other financial info

The Entretantos Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit, Spanish state-wide organisation dedicated to promoting knowledge, research, participation, mutual learning, collective construction and networking.

Entretantos is a non-profit organisation. A large part of the funds that the organisation manages come from open calls for grants and subsidies, to which any organisation that meets the specific requirements of each initiative can apply. These calls include, for example, the IRPF for entities in the environmental third sector, some European programmes such as Horizon 2020 or LIFE and others at European and national level. It also receives funds from the Daniel & Nina Carasso Foundation to co-finance some of the projects related to the development of food policies and support for more sustainable and healthy food.

In addition to these projects, the Foundation carries out some technical assistance work for municipalities, administrations, organisations or private entities, for which it charges for its services.

All this income and sources of funding, however, do not generate economic benefits and the surpluses obtained, if any, are used to support the aims of the Foundation and to resolve the funding difficulties we are experiencing. The same happens with other contributions we receive.
