O grupo Floene é o maior operador de distribuição de gás (ORD) em Portugal, através da participação e gestão direta de 9 ORDs, presentes em 106 concelhos de norte a sul do país. É, assim, responsável pela gestão da rede de distribuição de gás de média e baixa pressão, em regime de serviço público. Com uma rede constituída maioritariamente por polietileno (94%) e com uma idade média de menos de 16 anos, a Floene possui uma das infraestruturas mais modernas e eficientes da Europa, o que lhe permite assegurar um abastecimento em total segurança e um serviço de qualidade.
A Floene está também na linha da frente da descarbonização dos consumos de energia e da transição energética, estando preparada para a distribuição de gases renováveis. Assim, a Floene assume-se como um player de relevância na transição para uma economia de baixo carbono.
