Goals / Remit
GasNaturally’s mission is to highlight how, by using gas, we can make a clean future real. With addressing the climate change challenge high on the global agenda, GasNaturally aims to take the lead role in demonstrating how the gas industry stands ready to help Europe reach its 2030 climate and energy objectives, and its commitments under the Paris Agreement. GasNaturally aims to improve the image and reputation of gas towards key policymakers, defend the gas chain at the EU level and reverse the perception of the gas industry within the EU institutions through the following:(1)Emphasising the benefits of gas across end-use sectors through the overall activities and where appropriate rebutting the critics in an evidence-based manner; (2) Emphasising the benefits of gas infrastructure, investments in domestic gas exploration and production and of the diversification of EU supplies from global sources;(3)Highlighting the role of gas in the practical implementation of the “Paris Ag (...)
