HNVS Ltd's current main goal and remit is to deliver the ACRES Burren Aran (ACRES BUA) Cooperation Project, an agri-environment scheme for farmers managing the Burren (a karst region on the mid-west coast of Ireland), Aran Islands and south county Galway. Arising from the Burren Programme (2015-2022) and Caomhnú Árann (2018-2022), ACRES BUA works with farmers in managing and conserving the rich ecological, archaeological, geological and cultural heritage of the Burren, Aran Islands and South Galway.
