Goals / Remit
Die Initiative Urheberrecht und hat über 40 deutsche Mitglieds-Organisationen: Verbände und Gewerkschaften. In diesen sind rund 140.000 Urheber:innen und ausübende Künstler:innen organisiert. Der Dachverband tritt auf gegenüber der Bundesregierung, Ministerien, anderen politischen Stellen, Parteien, den Institutionen der EU, der WIPO, etc. und gegenüber den Nutzer:innen ihrer Rechte. Sie setzt sich für einen möglichst umfangreichen, weltweiten und fairen Schutz der rechtlichen und materiellen Interessen der Mitglieder ihrer Mitgliedsorganisationen und der kreativen Menschen ein.
