    Goals / Remit

    The Institute of Innovation and Responsible Development (INNOWO) is a foundation, non-governmental organization, THINK-to-DO TANK established to support the development of innovation and implementation of systemic changes for the purpose of sustainable socio-economic progress.. Circular Economy is a main field of interest and expertise of INNOWO. We support decision-makers in identifying effective legislative and policy instruments to engage businesses and consumers in achieving a significant and lasting change towards sustainable production and consumption and circular economy. The Institute works towards the dissemination of the concept of circular economy in theory and practice among all stakeholders - consumers, producers and regulators. To this end INNOWO uses the Polish Circular Hotspot – a public platform initiated and coordinated by the Institute.     Communication activities

    INNOWO has previously engaged in numerous research and projects aiming in Circular economy transition as:
    National project ‘OTO GOZ” with Polish Ministry of Economic Development which objective is to develop a set of measurement indicators (the so-called circular economy indexes), enabling the assessment of progress in the transformation towards a circular economy (circular economy) and the assessment of the impact of the circular economy on socio-economic development at the mesoeconomic level (regions) and macroeconomic (national economy).     We run a project about sustainable construction sector and based on various workshops with broad stakeholder groups we are prepared an report „Circular Construction” which was presents at DG GROW of EU Commission. https://www.innowo.org/pl/publikacje-goz/126
    With Metabolic foundation INNOWO at the moment is conducting one year ambitious project about resources, material and waste analysis in four Polish cities – Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk and Lublin.
