    Goals / Remit

    IWIB advocates for female empowerment. IWIB also advocates for Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, especially in Sweden. IWIB promotes knowledge and monitors regulations affecting women like the upcoming AI Act or technologies that can put women at risks like The Metaverse. Also, IWIB informs female founders and entrepreneurs of the latest regulations affecting their businesses. IWIB's Think Tank is part of the IWIB Group which offers consultancy services.

    Main EU files targeted

    1) The 2011 – 2020 Gender Equality Pact[14] includes three main EU ambitions on gender equality: closing the gender gaps in employment and social protection; promote better work-life balance for women and men throughout the life-cycle; combatting all forms of violence against women.

    2) European Commission, Proposal for a Directive on improving the gender balance among non-executive directors of companies listed on stock exchanges and related measures, COM/2012/0614 final - 2012/0299(COD)

    3) The third Gender Action Plan (GAP III), which lays out how the EU should promote gender equality in its external relations over the following five years. Just like its predecessor, the new plan highlights women’s equal political voice and participation as one of the EU’s central gender-equality priorities.
