    ENEA Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development. is the second major Italian research organization, with around 2200 staff employees distributed in its research centres and regional offices all over the national territory. The Agency’s activities are mainly focused on Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy Sources, Nuclear Energy, Sustainability, Climate and Environment, Safety and Health, New Technologies, Electric System Research.
    ENEA research activities are focused on the following sectors:

    ENEA's promotion work is represented, on one side, by the possibility of following continuously the works of Parliamentary Committees representing the key interests of ENEA (such as ITRE, ENVI, AGRI) thus having access to real time information on related subjects, on the other side, by the lobbying activity versus Italian Parliamentarians, in order to provide them with support and advice on the topics concerning ENEA’s expertise.
    This activity is mostly performed in Brussels by a staff composed by 3 people.
