-conducting information, research, training and publishing activities;
-supporting the development of entrepreneurship in the electronic economy sector;
-issuing opinions on existing customs within the electronic economy market;
-delegating representatives to participate in the work of advisory and consultative institutions;
-formation and dissemination of ethical principles in business activities

Izba Gospodarki Elektronicznej takes part or has taken part in consultations regarding i.a.
- taxation of the digital economy (EU VAT e-commerce package, EU Commission DG TAXUD Study VAT in the Digital Age),
- draft EU regulation on digital services,
- implementation of the provisions of Directive (EU) 2018/1972 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 establishing the European Electronic Communications Code into the Polish legal system,
-Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions "Shaping Europe's Digital Future",
- Draft Council Directive amending Directive 2016/11/EU on administrative cooperation in the field of taxation
- implementation of Regulation 2017/2394 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2017 on cooperation between national authorities responsible for the enforcement of consumer protection laws and repealing Regulation 2006/2004/EC (CPC Regulation), into the Polish legal system
- Implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/1 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 aimed at empowering the competition authorities of the Member States to enforce the law more effectively and ensure the proper functioning of the internal market into the Polish legal system

independent legal experts in e-commerce, and e-Izba members and partners. More than 200 member companies are also involved in legislative activities.
