Journalismfund.eu is een non-profitorganisatie, die zich inzet om grensoverschrijdende onderzoeksjournalistiek en onafhankelijke journalistiek in heel Europa te bevorderen. Het dient uiteindelijk het algemeen belang, bevordert de verantwoordingsplicht en transparantie, en draagt bij tot kritisch denken en goed geïnformeerd debat.
De flexibele beurzenprogramma's van Journalismfund.eu stellen journalisten in staat relevante verhalen van algemeen belang te produceren met een Europese mentaliteit vanuit internationale, nationale en regionale perspectieven.
Journalismfund.eu handhaaft altijd de redactionele onafhankelijkheid van zijn begunstigden en streeft naar hoge journalistieke kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid.
