    Goals / Remit

    KIC InnoEnergy's objectives are three:
    First, decrease of costs of energy
    Second, decrease greenhouse gas emissions
    Third, increase the security/operability of the energy system

    KIC InnoEnergy is a European consortium acting as a catalyser of innovation in the field of sustainable energy by promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and education. It supports innovation projects, provides acceleration services to start-ups and ventures, and organizes Master’s and PhD educational programmes.

    KIC InnoEnergy supports and invests in innovation at every stage of the journey – from classroom to customers. With its network of partners it builds connections across Europe, bringing together inventors and industry, entrepreneurs and markets, graduates and employers, researchers and businesses

    KIC InnoEnergy counts 24 key institutions in the energy field as shareholders (top European industry companies, universities, and research centers) and over 400 additional partners.
